What does Giant Schnauzers of Eminence mean?

Our slogan, "Giants of Eminence", indicates our dedication and desire to achieve the qualities of superiority and prominence while continuing to strive for the perfect Giant.

 The perfect giant will have: 1) a dependable temperament (aloof with strangers, accepting once introduced, protective when needed), 2) the proper conformation for which they were bred and documented in the official breed standard, and 3) trainability.  The giant schnauzer is highly capable of learning to do most anything, as they are intelligent and athletic.

 What does “Keystone” mean?

 Keystone: "something on which associated things depend for support" is why we chose our name.  Support is so important in anything we do.  When we have a mentor/coach, we are able to achieve success more easily, in anything we do.  That is our goal.

 Since 1983, we have been gathering data, gaining knowledge, and doing research from our contacts with professional handlers, top breeders, and groomers. Giants are beautiful animals when they are well cared for (i.e. bred properly, fed nutritionally correct, groomed and trained adequately). Each component is as important as the next. We want your experiences with a Giant to be positive and rewarding.  From the time you first contact us, through your whole relationship with your Keystone Giant, we are there to talk to concerning training, grooming, competition, and nutrition.  Whatever your needs or questions, we want to assist you.  We will do whatever we can to make your ownership a positive one.  We have experience shipping dogs all over the world, and would be glad to take care of that for you as well.  Regulations change, but we are able to work through any changes to law or process, and can take that burden off of you.  We will get the proper paperwork completed, get the airline approved crate for transporting, and make the flight reservations.  We are here to support you in your needs to the best of our ability.
